WIKA To Build Primary School In Kesnand Village, Pune

The calibration laboratory has received NABL accreditation and is equipped with high-level primary standard equipment for calibration. WIKA in India boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing operations in Pune, Chennai, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, drawing upon the global experience of WIKA Germany.

Understanding the challenges faced by the school due to space constraints, WIKA took the initiative to construct five fully equipped classrooms to ensure uninterrupted education for the village students. This initiative will enhance the school’s seating capacity by accommodating 200 more students, opening doors to education for many from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and promoting primary education in the area.

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Alexander Wiegand stated, “Education is the birthright of every child, and quality education shapes not only their future but also that of the community and the country as a whole. We are proud that WIKA has played a role in providing education to every child in Kesnand village.”

During interactions with the community, Mr. Andreas Keiger commended the impact of businesses contributing to society through CSR activities. He expressed hope that WIKA’s commitment to enabling education will positively transform many lives.

Mr. Gaurav Bawa shared his experiences and the unwavering support received from the village community over the years. “WIKA’s journey in India began in Kesnand, and this community holds significant importance for our growth. The enduring support of the community is integral to us, and we are glad to contribute. It is heartening to see the Zilla Parishad Primary School nurturing generations of well-rounded and civic-minded individuals, many of whom have become prominent leaders in the community. Our hope is that the school will continue to nurture every child in the village and shape their future,” he expressed. The construction of the school building is anticipated to be completed by February 2024. WIKA believes that this initiative will leave a lasting positive impact on the students, teachers, and the entire community.
