Please feel free to print these terms and conditions, please read them carefully and ensure that you have understood them, as you will be required to sign a copy before boarding your Guinea Pigs with us.
Opening Times
We are open Monday - Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 10.00am – 1.00pm. Other times can be arranged on an appointment basis, and we are flexible with arrival and departure arrangements.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 10% is payable at the time of booking with the balance to be paid upon arrival. This can be paid in cash, cheque or by PayPal. However, if you are paying the balance by cheque, we will require this to be cleared before arrival, cash payments can be made on the day of arrival.
Delivery and Collection
All pets should arrive and depart in a suitable pet carrier along with their own water bottle, dried food, and any other possessions that make them, feel at home (toys, brushes, etc.).
We offer a free collection and delivery service within 10 miles of Bognor Regis, please request this service at time of booking.
If your pet guinea pig is not collected within 7 days of the agreed collection date and you have not contacted us to inform us differently and we are unable contact you from the information you provided, we reserve the right to take action to have the animal re-homed. We also reserve the right to undertake legal action to reimburse outstanding boarding fees and any re-homing costs.
Vaccination & Health
There are at present no vaccination requirements for guinea pigs. However we reserve the right to refuse any animal which is showing signs of any sickness or disease, we also reserve the right to refuse any heavily pregnant sows which are liable to give birth during the boarding period, unless previously agreed prior to boarding.
Illness and Death
Whilst your pet guinea pig is in our care it will be fed a variety of fresh food and its own dried food, it will be housed in clean, safe, secure and sheltered accommodation, it will be given daily outdoor exercise in a secure, safe run.
It will not mix with the other boarders except for its own (bonded) family and will be stroked, groomed (if required) and checked over daily.
Should your pet guinea pig become ill whilst boarding with us, we will seek advice from our vet (unless advised of your own vet) at cost to you.
Should bonded pets require to be separated in the interest of the animals own safety, you will be charged accordingly for the additional accommodation, these fees and any vets fees will be payable on collection of your pet.
In the unlikely event of a death occurring, we will notify you immediately, we will take your pet to either yours or our vets where you can arrange your final wishes.
You should be made aware that at this moment in time, no licensing laws or regulations exist in respect of boarding small animals.
All animals are left entirely at their owners risk.
